Summer Reading List

(To the Reading Lists)

Carencro High’s English Department firmly believes that a summer reading program can be an effective educational extension of the school year. We hope that students discover, develop & nurture a love for reading that is carried forever. We also hope that parents & guardians take this opportunity to discuss book selections and nurture the act of reading. Enjoy your summer!

NOTE TO PARENTS & GUARDIANS

THERE IS NEED FOR STUDENT MATURITY AND PARENTAL GUIDANCE WHEN SELECTING A BOOK TITLE. YOUR INVOLVEMENT IN CHOOSING A BOOK WILL ENSURE THAT THE BOOK’S THEME AND CONTENT ARE APPROPRIATE. PLEASE REVIEW THESE TITLES TOGETHER AND SELECT A TITLE THAT IS COMFORTABLE FOR YOU AND YOUR CHILD.
