SENIOR NEWS= LETTER
(April, 2008
Seniors; this is no time to slump.=
Once you have a college option in =
hand,
you may get the urge to coast through the rest of the school year. Maybe you’ve already decided=
to
slack off. Before you give in=
to
senior slump, you should know that the college may be watching you. Colleges, especially selective
universities, have been known to withdraw offers of admission to students w=
ho
begin earning uncharacteristically low grades .This is checked on their sev=
en
semester transcripts. Taking =
an
extended breather during your senior year can make your freshman year in
college difficult. So have fu=

Absences are a big problem this time of the year. You are allowed only 7 unexcused a=

excuses you have not turned in; please do so to Mrs. Cindy Babineaux. Hearings will be in a couple of
weeks. I have 40 seniors that=
have
over the allowed absences. Pl=
ease
don’t wait to clear this up. You will not graduate with excessive abs=
ences. Please see me if you thing you are
endanger of failing. Letters =
are
