Dance a success despite the elements
Neither rain nor shine could stop the students of Carencro High from enjoying their annual homecoming dance.
The dance was held at N.P. Moss in honor of our Homecoming Queen, Court, and victorious football team.
Senior Brittany Durel most certainly did not have any complaints about the dance.
“I had a very good time; I enjoyed everything about it,” Durel said.
The DJ had everyone in motion while he played everyone's favorite songs. For one the first times in recent memory, the students did not have to hear not so popular hits such as the “Tootsie Roll”, or “Bunny Hop” four times throughout the dance.
In addition to the music, there was no surprise with how well the decorations came out. Student Council spent countless hours and hard work into planning all the homecoming festivities including decorations.
This was a night to remember for most and a lifetime of memories for the seniors at their last homecoming dance.
